After he catches her, he recognizes her as the women he encountered in the elevator at LAX.
  • "The Final Recruit" Sawyer and Kate discuss their plan with the other survivors and then go get the sailboat together. Before they swim to the boat, Sawyer convinces Kate to leave Claire backside. Earlier in the episode he said to Jack that he wouldn't let Claire attack Kate always once again. They sit next to eachother in the gunkhole. In the Flash-Sideways - Sawyer brings Kate downtown and proceeds to question her earlier the Feds get at that place.
